Go Go Fruit Basket is an on-line fruit delivery service based in Manchester which was launched in 2000 providing an interesting and wide range of fruit baskets for companies, parties and of course to give as a present. There’s nothing more healthy than a basket full of fresh vibrant fruit to take to hospital if visiting a patient or new mother or for a corporate office function. Ranging from £30 all the way up to £100, Go Go Fruit basket don’t just offer fruit baskets, throughout the year there are specials on Mothering Sunday, Father’s Day, Easter, Wellbeing Baskets and Get-Well Fruit Baskets. Go Go Fruit Basket offer a range of cheese and wine-based baskets which does always contain some fruit and at Christmas, there is a Festive Fruit Basket with Green & Blacks chocolate, wine and even a teddy bear!!
I particularly like the Well Being Basket which includes delicious and healthy goodies such as honey, muesli and granola and nutty snacks to satisfy those sweet cravings but without the guilt. These baskets are perfect for someone recovering in hospital, new mothers or just the perfect treat for that health fanatic in your life. There’s a basket for everyone and that includes a specially selected juicing basket, containing vegetables and fruits that are ideal for the juicer. Go Go Fruit Basket have a tailormade service for corporate breakfasts and lunches, their baskets, some of which are Fruit & Nuts, Mighty Fruit & Muffin and Energy Baskets provide an interesting mix of treats to sustain everyone during those stressful office meetings.
The company offer a FREE delivery service throughout the UK if the order is placed before 2:30pm including Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands however deliveries to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Islands and Highlands will incur a surcharge of £12.50 as does a delivery on Saturday which is £10.00.
Go Go Fruit Basket have a blog under their News banner where they feature all sorts of useful information about health and recipes and feature Instagram accounts, useful websites and bloggers. This is how I was approached a couple of weeks ago and asked if I would allow Go Go Fruit to borrow my Fruit Compote recipe for their monthly on-line health article and this months was 30 Minutes or Less – 26OftheBestFruitBasedHealthyVegetarianRecipes. I obliged and, in the article, my recipe for Apple and Blueberry Compote is number 20 which you can find if you click on the highlighted link here and above. I’m really delighted that Go Go Fruit Basket decided to feature my recipe on their blog, which includes many other interesting healthy recipes. My recipe can also be accessed by clicking on this link and features under my recipe banner, Healthy Eats in my blog.
